Rob WilksDeaf, Rob is Director of Legal Services at the Royal Association for Deaf People where he has worked in various roles since 2003. He qualified as a solicitor in 2007. His specialist area is employment and discrimination law. Rob obtained a BA in History at the University of Wales, Swansea, and having decided to pursue a career in Law, he completed the CPE at UWE, and the LPC at Cardiff Law School. Rob also has an LLM in Law of Employment Relations from the University of Leicester, and is currently studying a Certificate in Company Direction with the Institute of Directors. Rob has been involved with the Group for Solicitors with Disabilities (now the Lawyers with Disabilities Division), and has previously been its past Chairman, and was part of the European Union for the Deaf's Deaf Lawyer Working Party between 2011 and 2013.
